Although I’ve probably said this 100 times, I must start by saying that I am in love with the outfit! I purchased this dress years ago at NY & Co. and I ended up purchasing 2 more of the same style dresses with different prints. However, this brown and red one has to be my favorite of the 3. I love the color combo and I also love the way it falls.

I planned on wearing this outfit last week for date night. Darrius and I received 2 tickets for a show at Toby’s Dinner Theater for Christmas, thanks to my Grandmother. We wanted to see The Sound of Music which is one of my favorite childhood movies/musicals. To our dismay, the tickets were only good for a certain location. Bummer. But not to worry; we will end up seeing something good in the upcoming months.

Because I was already prepared with the pictures, I figured I might as well go ahead and share what would’ve been my date night look. I threw on my red pumps to give the outfit a little umph. I haven’t worn them in awhile and I actually forgot how comfortable they are. Looking at the outfit now, I think some red lipstick would’ve REALLY given the outfit some sparkle. Next time I wear this, I will Ruby Red those lips up for sure!
