WNJ Inspires – What’s on my Bucket List, Part II

August 5, 2014 by Whitney 19 Comments

Last week I shared 10 bucket list ideas from my 28 Things to Do While 28 list. I was so happy to see those 10 ideas spark an interest with some of you. A few people even reached out letting me know they were inspired to start their own bucket lists! 🙂 So today, I’m sharing the rest of my bucket list ideas. Here we go!

bucket-list-ideas

11. Complete the Bible in 1 year (starting on Aug. 11th)

12. Complete another Thrift With Nic! Tour

13. Learn how to sew (at least the basics)

14. Pay for a strangers meal

15. Cook a BIG meal for a special occasion or holiday

16. Try eyebrow threading (OUCH) (DONE)

17. Change my hair color for a day (wearing a wig counts  😉 )

18. Meet a celebrity (DONE – Will Meet Several at The Merge Conference in Aug. 2015)

19. Take a pole dancing class (heeeeyyy  😉 ) (DONE)

20. Own a pet (a fish counts, lol)

21. Start a YouTube page (DONE)

22. Attend Blogalicious (DONE – Will Attend Sept. 2015)

24. Get a facial (DONE)

25. Attend a wine tasting event/or class

26. Apply/Pitch to speak at an event/or school (DONE)

27. Invest in a new camera and computer (NEW COMPUTER, DONE)

28. Invest in one luxury purchase (handbag, shoes, jewelry, etc.)

So what do you think about these 10 bucket list ideas? Still pretty reasonable, right?

As always, thanks for reading! I hope I’ve inspired even more of you to create a bucket list of your own. As I said in last weeks post, life is way too short not to enjoy it. Until tomorrow, be blessed and be safe…XO!

This is fun, thank you for sharing. These are totally reachable items. You must share what the other hair color would look like. 🙂 Hope to read more on the subject of your bucket list! Good luck with them!

Nice list and fun. The eyebrow threading is only an ouch for a short time, but the benefits are great. I have found that threading looks so much cleaner than waxed brows. The celebrity thing…you may not be so excited about it once you meet them. Some are nice and some aren’t. I have a testimony about feeding a stranger…
One Sunday while on our way to church, we saw a man on the side of the road. He was obviously very hungry and homeless. Even though we would be late for church, my husband pulled into a restaurant and order him some food. We drove back around and found him and gave him the food and then continued on to church. After services, a couple came to us and said, “I feel like the Lord is telling us to bless your family.” The couple gave us $200. We new it was because we had blessed the homeless man.

Great list! I want to learn how to sew to. My mom is great at sewing so I’ve been meaning to let her teach me. I just keep forgetting to buy an easy pattern so I can learn.

    Whitney,
These are some definitely achievable bucket list items! I am dying to see the day of the wig, but be aware, you may never want to take them off. Trust me:)

I’d also be interested in changing up my hair color too. Or at least doing light brown tips. And I also want to go to a shooting range too.

[…] Remember my bucket list? Well, I can officially cross off taking a pole dancing class! The pole dancing classes at Xpose Fitness are extremely liberating and my ENTIRE body was stretched and worked out; I love that! My adventurous friend also introduced me to a trampoline workout class at Sky Zone. While I enjoyed the class, it’s not something I can see myself doing on a regular basis. Jumping, running, stretching and doing crunches on a trampoline is a lot harder than it seems. It was a definite challenge, but I did it! […]
