WNJ Inspires – Under Construction

With the new year quickly approaching, it’s time for me to start thinking about my goals for 2014. I usually wait until after Christmas to really start thinking and jotting down ideas, but this year I’ve started early. Here are a few things on my list that I want to share.

construction1

  1. Start practicing yoga
  2. Visit 1 island I’ve never be to (I’m thinking St. Thomas, Virgin Islands)
  3. Attend a taping of  The Wendy Williams Show & The Real
  4. Learn Korean (at least the basics…)
  5. Plan a summer blog/thrifting tour
  6. Take a cooking & wine tasting class

I feel like all the plans, goals and ideas I have for myself personally and business wise are pieces of my life puzzle. In a way, I’m constantly under construction – building a better me each day, month and year. I feel like we should always be under construction because we never stop growing and evolving. Don’t you agree?

So tell me, do you have any plans yet for the new year? Feel free to share! Ttys and be blessed!

I have some plans in mind for the new year already but they’re on the back burner for now until I catch up with everything going on in life!! Sounds like you have some great plans ahead. I’m especially drawn to #2 visiting a new island and #6 enjoying a cooking and wine class! Have fun :) PS love those captoe heels!

Whitney, first, I love your outfit! I always admire these tunic-style, high-low tops, but I never feel comfortable once I actually put them on. You make it look amazing, and I love your choice of shoe :)

Secondly, I am actually from St. Thomas, and you should absolutely, positively visit. It is beautiful, and you would love it. Living in the states, I miss the beautiful beaches, weather and food from back home more than anything else. And if you’d like to do a blog thrifting tour, I’m absolutely in ;)
