Giveaway | $50 Minted Giveaway

June 12, 2015 by Whitney 13 Comments

Last week I shared my favorite Minted designs for spring and summer weddings. I also promised to host a giveaway, featuring the company. Well today is the day! The good people over at Minted have given me a $50 credit to gift to one special reader. All you have to do is follow the rules below, and be sure to leave a comment.

In case you need some help figuring out what to purchase with your $50, here are the two items I ordered (c/o Minted). I figured hubby and I could use the two prints to hang in our new apartment. We’re not moving in until the end of the summer, but we’ve seen the space and are really excited to decorate!

A Helpful Reminder

The 1st print I ordered was just the print; I want to add my own picture frame to it. I think it’s really cute and will be perfect to sit on our table near the front door. The last print includes one of hubby’s favorite scriptures. I decided to have that one framed and I ordered a larger size. I know we’ll be hanging that one on the wall.

So tell me, what would you do with a $50 Minted credit? What do you think about my orders? Let me know!

Lifestyle | Minted Invitations for Spring & Summer

June 5, 2015 by Whitney 5 Comments

Yesterday I received some very exciting news – my dear friend Kamille got engaged! When she sent me a picture of her ring I immediately called her, squealing with excitement and holding back tears. I felt like I’d been proposed to, LOL! I love love, but above all I enjoy seeing my friends genuinely happy. I also enjoy weddings, especially the planning part. I can’t wait to hear all the plans for her and Rae’s big day!

In thinking about the wedding planning (and all the festivities that come with it) I started thinking about Minted.com right away. That’s the perfect place for wedding invitations and announcements. I actually used Minted for our holiday cards last year. They were absolutely beautiful! So when I went browsing on their site recently, I came across the prettiest invitation samples. Here are a few of my favorites.

The one thing I love most about Minted is the versatility in designs. From floral and abstract to simple and classic, the design options are endless. No matter your style Minted has something for you. I also like that you can personalize an invite with a picture. Lastly each order comes with the mailing envelopes, which are made of amazing quality and can be personalized as well.

Be sure to check back here next Friday for a $50 Minted giveaway, just in time for those spring and summer event invitations. I’ll also showcase my Minted order, courtesy of the company. Have a great weekend, everyone. Be blessed and stay safe…xo!

Giveaway | Holiday Cards from Minted

December 5, 2014 by Whitney 14 Comments

Is the art of giving or sending holiday cards a thing of the past? I think not. I love getting cards in the mail; especially cards with things inside (i.e. money, checks, gift cards, etc). More importantly, I enjoy giving cards. Doesn’t matter the occasion, I’ll find a card for it! This holiday season is no different. Hubby and I have decided to send out holiday cards! The holiday’s came so quickly that we didn’t have a chance to do so last year. So when I was contacted about the holiday cards from Minted a few weeks back,  I knew I should take them up on their offer.

We ended up ordering the cutest holiday/new year cards to send to our family. It was hard to narrow down a design, but we eventually agreed on the one below. Instead of the traditional folded card, we opted for the postcard style. This style is my favorite because you can easily frame the card and use it as a picture or stick it on your fridge. People still stick things to their fridge, right??

On the back of the card there’s a brief new year’s message. We also ordered the envelopes, with our name and address engraved on the envelope seal, as well. Fancy, huh? I felt so grown up after I order from Minted. I used to see my mother order our family holiday cards year after year and I loved helping her pick out designs, colors and fonts. Now that I’m married, I get to do the same and I must say it was fun!

I want you to join in on the fun too! Thanks to Minted, I’m giving away a $50 credit to their site. This giveaway is right on time for the holiday season! There are so many options to pick from, and adding your  favorite family photo makes the cards that much more special. You can also order holiday menus, place cards, invites and MUCH more! So be sure to enter for your chance to win and share this giveaway with your fiends and family too! Giveaway ends next Sunday at midnight, so be sure to enter ASAP. Have a great weekend, stay blessed and be safe…xo!
