Because if I don’t take care of myself, how can I take care of other people?

Self care is important because if I don’t take care of myself, I can’t take care of others. I just feel better when I’ve done little things to take care of myself, doesn’t even have to be major.

Self care is important to me because I have a super stressful job and I’m the type of person who tends to put my EVERYTHING into work. Because of this, I need time to take care of myself when I get home, by taking bubble baths and enjoying tv (and wine)!

Self care is important to me because I have people relying on me. If I don’t take some time to take care of some of my needs and wants I can’t help anyone.

Enjoy the hiatus! As a woman we tend to let put things first and neglect our own body, mind and soul and it’s hard to say “no” but we also have to feel that if we don’t say “no” our body will do it for us. So take all the time you need and we’ll be here waiting for you 🙂

I have learned over the years that if you don’t take care of yourself, you can’t take care of anyone else.
