Personal Style Monday – Snow Day OOTD

Happy Monday! I’m still getting over all the snow we got here in (Howard County) Maryland. I think the total accumulation was somewhere around 15-17 inches or so. While it was pretty to look at, it was no fun shoveling and digging out our cars. LOL! But we got it done – fingers crossed that’s the last of the snow for the season!

As you can probably imagine, I didn’t wear my most fashionable threads during the snow days. I did however wear this outfit right before the heavy snow came – this is my version of a (pre) snow day OOTD. 😉 Not 100% prepared, I didn’t have any boots so the thrifted flats had to do, lol!

Despite the snow, I was still able to enjoy my Valentine’s Day with the hubby. We went to the movies, lunch and shopped a bit – nothing too big. The movie we decided to go see was About Last Night. Can you say, hilarious?! Kevin Hart and Regina Hall were the perfect funny duo while Micheal Ealy and Joy Bryant were the perfect sweet balance. Overall the movie had a good message and provided a nice hearty dose of humor. If you haven’t seen it, you should make that your next movie choice.

So, did you get any snow in your area? What did you wear this weekend? Did you wear a snow day OOTD too? We got snow here in SC! I’m so over this crazy weather, but I was very happy about the paid time off from work! lol. I did see About Last Night and it was okay. There we’re definitely some funny moments but for the most part, I’d give it a 3 out of 5 stars. lol

I promise you don’t want to know about my SoCal weather so I’ll spare you the details! You have some amazing thrift finds in this outfit! Great job putting it together and thanks so much for sharing it with Manic Monday. I don’t have any personal style looks in my post today otherwise I’d be linking up again! :)

Oh gosh Whitney, I just can’t relate to cold and snow. I feel for you. I freak out if it drizzles. I need my sun and warmth. For Valentine’s Day, my husband and I hosted a table at a luncheon for widows and widowers. It was a very touching event. The next day he took me into L.A. to see the Diane von Furstenberg exhibit called Journey of a Dress. Stop by and check it out –

It was not fun, Glenda. But I’m glad the snow is over (so they say). Again, that exhibit looks amazing! Glad you had a great Valentine’s Day!

Well, you are looking fabulous no matter what. I want a pair of jeans in that color, by the way. I am searching for one next time. We had quite a winter and lots of snow here in Wyoming too. I even see more snowy days coming according to the weather radar.
