Personal Style | Casual & Quirky Thrifted Outfit

October 29, 2015 by Whitney 4 Comments

Lately I’ve been stretching my wardrobe and repeating certain outfit pieces. I decided to restyle this thrifted top, worn once this week already, for errands with hubby. We ran to the mall and grocery store the other day; of course I wanted to be comfy and cute. I reached for this top, a pair of my favorite jeans and piled on the colorful (thrifted) accessories. Yet another successful thrifted outfit, check!

I thought the purse, hat and necklace was a bit much at first. After thinking about it I said to myself, why not? Having fun with accessories is what personal style is all about. So, I threw on ANOTHER accessory, my thrifted reading glasses, and bam. The outfit was complete!

It’s OK to have fun with style. Make your style personal and rock it! #wnjstyle

It may be a lot for some, but for me it works. It’s a quirky outfit that really speaks to my personal style.  When hubs saw me walk out of the room he even said, “that outfit is so you,” LOL! He gets me, that’s all that matters anyway. 😉

So tell me, what do you think about my thrifted outfit? When’s the last time you had fun with accessories and spiced up your personal style? Let me know!

Thanks for stopping by today and until tomorrow, be blessed and stay safe…XO!

I love pieces that I can wear and re-wear all the time. That is the purpose of the clothes, and it is fun to find new ways to wear something. And I agree..you should have fun with accessories. As the saying goes ” More is more, and less is bore” 🙂

You look so cute in that baseball cap. I love those fun beads and the zebra tote. =)

Love this look, especially the top. I don’t think the hat is too much, looks cute on ya’!

The draped top looks lovely on you, and I think the cap was the perfect fun element to add to the look.
