Events | Macy’s Black History Month “The Soul Era” Event

You all know that I love a good event – especially one involving fashion and style. So it’s with great excitement that I spread the news about the upcoming Macy’s Black History Month “Soul Era Event” ! The event will feature celebrity stylist June Ambrose and costume designer, Johnetta Boone; both style icons of the fashion world. These phenomenal women have worked with stars including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Will Smith and Zoe Saldana. They’ve also been featured in Vogue Germany, New York Magazine, VH1 and HBO.

This event will take place in several major cities. During the event you can expect a look back at the fashion, accessories and attitude that rocked the runway in the 60’s and 70’s – two important style eras – and how there is an undeniable effect on the way you look and dress today. June and Johnetta will lead the panel discussion and afterwards there will be a reception for the attendees…and LOTS of fashion! And no worries; you do not have to purchase anything to be a part of this fabulous event. Macy’s Lenox Square (Atlanta) – February 6, 7.00 p.m.

Macy’s Center City (Philadelphia) – February 11, 5.00 p.m.

Macy’s Herald Square (New York) – February 4, 6.00 p.m.

Macy’s Baldwin Hills (Los Angeles) – February 26, 6.30 p.m.
