#WNJPlaylist | The Morning Playlist You Need to Have an Amazing Day

May 23, 2016 by Whitney 12 Comments

What’s one of the first things you do in the morning? For me it’s listen to music. I actually have a morning playlist entitled “Wake Up” on Apple Music. I listen to it while I’m getting ready or during my morning car rides. Because my taste in music is pretty diverse, the playlist is broken up into genres. I usually start off listening to my favorite Gospel/Christian/Inspiration songs, then I press shuffle. Whatever comes next, I roll with it.

I’m a firm believer that music has the power to change and set your mood and like Dick Clark once said, “music is the soundtrack to your life.” After carefully selecting my Top 40 songs from my morning playlist, including songs from 4 genres, I created the Ultimate Morning Playlist. These songs are guaranteed to inspire, motivate and get you fired up for an amazing day! Take a look and let me know if I’ve included any of your favorites.

So many songs on here that I don’t know — I feel so old. But I do love Show Stopper and I Wanna Be Down.

FYI, you have Purpose on the Pop list twice. Maybe it’s a mistake; maybe it’s a great song and you just love it that much!

Lol, I just noticed that. Although it is a great song, lol, I meant to put Trust & Purpose. HAHAHA! Thanks for looking out! 😉

And yes, I’m such and old head too when it comes to music.

I’m definitely feeling #’s 1, 2, 6, 8 & 9 from the gospel section. Also, loving Chrisette, Brandy and Erykah from the R&B section…and I can’t forget Alright by Kendrick Lamar from the Rap section.

I love your christian inspirational song lists. I’ll be adding this to my list of christian songs. I also tried listening to your other lists in this post. Thank you for sharing. Listening to Music is indeed a very nice way to start a happy and bright day.
I personally love Fly away by alisson krauss, it’s about life and death at the same time and the melody is really happy. Have you tried listwning to this song?
